Overview
Engaging with bees can be an enriching experience, blending elements of nature, agriculture, and education.
Wear your beekeeping costume and let’s explore the kingdom of bees! Discover the bee’s world and it’s importance as a pollinator for our ecosystem. Learn about honey, pollen and royal jelly production.
After your briefing about the basic beekeeping principals and safety rules, we provide you beekeeping equipment. Now it’s time to light up the smoker and dive into the beehive!
As we open the bee hive you will be able to hold a frame and observe the worker bees, pollen, honey and larva. If you are lucky you may spot the queen of the hive!
As you get closer to these little creatures time slows down, everything gets calmer and senses become more intense. The buzzing of the bees, the scent of the honeycomb, the taste of fresh honey will reveal a hidden side of the island that you should not miss!
